Bridge study: Wolf Bay Span is feasible

Press Register April 1, 2007
According to an article printed in the Press Register a bridge across Wolf Bay and a new roadway connecting this resort ciy to vast undeveloped tracts andmiles of pristine waterfront could cost as much as $110 million, but also might generate income up to four times that cost over 20 years, a new study suggests.

City officials have recieved a project feasibility study from Florida based Figg Engineering.

The report found that development fueled growth would allow the city to link AL 161 via the bridge and road project to either US 98 or I-10 for between $80 million & $110 million and the tolls would still be enough to lure private investments needed for construcition the bridge.
