According to the Press Register story in Sunday's paper there have been complaints and a drop in traffic since the increase of the cost to travel via the toll bridge. City officials plan to request the new owners of the Foley beach Express bridge to reconsider the increase in tolls. The increase that took effect on March 1, 2007 changed all tolls by $1 except the year-round Orange Beach resident rate which only increased by 50 cents.

Standard passenger Vehicles: $3
Orange Beach year round residents: $1.50
Commercial Vehicles: $1 per axle plus $1
